Why publish with e-Sentral

Four things you get on day one that you would otherwise have to buy, build or negotiate for yourself.
Copy protection built in
Your files are encrypted before they ever reach a reader, using e-Sentral's own DRM. There is a self-service encryption tool under Add-on Services, so you are not licensing a separate rights-management product or putting an unprotected EPUB on the open web.
A payment gateway already running
Card processing, multi-currency handling and payout reconciliation are wired up and live. You never register a merchant account or integrate a gateway — sales appear in your Earnings report, and e-Sentral pays out from there once you have filled in Banking & TAX.
Real e-book formats and full metadata
Upload an EPUB or an audiobook chapter set, then describe it the way a bookseller expects: ISBN, imprint, language, synopsis, tags and release date, with a separate price for each market — MYR, SGD, USD, IDR, PHP, THB and VND. The same record carries opt-in flags for onward distribution to Google Play, Apple Books, Kindle and Kobo.
Coupons and vouchers, ready made
Discounts and promotional campaigns run on e-Sentral's existing coupon and voucher system. You can put a title on offer without building redemption codes, expiry rules or campaign tracking yourself.
Part one — Getting registered
Registration is a single long form followed by an email confirmation. Work top to bottom; nothing is saved until you submit, so set aside ten minutes and have your IC and address details on hand.
Open the sign-up page and choose Self Publisher
From the homepage or the sign-up page, pick Self Publisher — not Publishing Company.
That choice decides which contract you are asked to agree to later, and it cannot be swapped afterwards without help from e-Sentral.
Say where you are publishing from
Pick Malaysia or International.
This is not cosmetic: choosing International removes the IC number and company registration number requirements, so overseas publishers without a Malaysian identity card can still complete the form.
Fill in your details and address
This block covers both who you are and where you can be reached.
The address fields belong to your publishing account, so use the address you want on your contract and payment records.

- Street address, city, postcode, state and country.

- A number e-Sentral can reach you on.
Add company information — or skip it
Every self publisher gets a publisher record, but you do not need a registered business to have one.
Leave the company name blank and your full name becomes the publisher name automatically.

Accept the title limit and the agreement
Two tick boxes, both compulsory.
The first acknowledges how many titles a self-publishing account may carry; the second is the e-Sentral Marketplace Agreement for Self-Publisher, which opens in a window from the form so you can read it before agreeing.
Complete the CAPTCHA and submit
Type the confirmation code shown.
If the image is hard to read, use the link to fetch another one or switch to the audio version.
Activate your account from your email
e-Sentral sends an activation link the moment registration goes through.
You cannot log in until you click it, and the link is only good for 48 hours — after that the pending account is cleared and you would need to register again. If the mail never arrives, request a fresh link from the sign-in page rather than starting over.
Log in and land on your dashboard
Sign in with either your username or your email address, plus your password.
You arrive at the dashboard described below, with an empty catalogue waiting for your first upload.
Part two — What you can see inside
The left-hand menu is your map. Everything below is grouped the way the portal groups it. Sections marked Account holder are visible to the person who registered the account; extra users you invite later see the everyday sections only.
You must be signed in for any of these links to work. Every link below opens a screen inside the publisher panel, and the portal will bounce you to its sign-in page if your session has expired or you are not logged in yet. Sign in to the publisher panel first, then follow any link from this guide.
Dashboard
Everyday- Today's sales and sales to date, in ringgit
- Titles and authors currently live under your account
- A 30-day sales chart split by MYR, SGD and USD
- Your average rating out of 5.00, with recent reader reviews underneath
Content Submission
Everyday- Upload Content — submit one e-book with its cover, EPUB, preview and metadata
- Upload Audio — the same flow for an audiobook, chapter by chapter
- Bulk Upload — load many titles at once from a spreadsheet
